Board of Directors Meeting

August 20, 2025 - 2:00pm

Location: 715 Market St, 2nd Floor Conference Room, Chattanooga TN

1.     Call to Order and Minutes Approval

 Todd Philips, Chair of the DCA, called the meeting to order. DCA Board Members attending were, Susan Harris, Tom Marshall, Sean O’Brien, Darin Ledford, Kelly Fitzgerald, Captain Montgomery, Sam Barry. Also, in attendance was DCA Executive Director, Steve Brookes, Kelly Allen with Q Strategies.

The minutes from June 18th, 2025 Board of Directors meeting were approved.

 2.     Finance Committee Update – Treasurer, Downtown Chattanooga Alliance – Gordon Stalans

 Gordon updated the board on the current financials and stated everything is in on track so far this year. There are no concerns regarding DCA financials.

3.     Executive Director Update – Steve Brookes

 Steve gave an overview on the DCA accomplishments from July 2024 – June 2025.

 Steve talked about a potential partnership with CARTA regarding the bus stops along Market St in the DCA district.
