TN Department of Mental Health Recognizes Randi Haynes for Outstanding Service
Congratulations to our very own Randi Haynes! Randi received the 2025 Wellness Through Employment Employer of the Year Award by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services last month.
She was recognized for her:
Commitment to IPS Programs (Individual Placement & Support Programs)
Advocacy in the community
Work with the homeless population
Willingness to collaborate
Dedication to second-chance opportunities
Leadership in building a compassionate team
Randi was nominated by the AIM Center, a local organization that provides job training and employment security for individuals with mental and physical disabilities. Over the past 5 years, we have been honored to partner closely with the AIM Center—offering employment opportunities, supporting members through weekly IPS meetings, volunteering for mock interviews, attending events, and inspiring other employers to join the mission.
“We’re so proud of all of Randi’s hard work and accomplishments. Her leadership and partnerships with places like the AIM Center make our program a success,” said Steve Brookes, executive director of the Downtown Chattanooga Alliance. “The DCA Board of Directors is committed to having an Ambassador program that provides a percentage of positions for individuals from second-chance programs. Randi has done a great job providing these opportunities and has hired, trained, and guided many individuals over the years. She is well deserving of this award.”
