Executive Directors Meeting

November 12 - 2:00pm

Location: 715 Market St, 2 nd Floor Conference Room

1. Call to Order and Minutes Approval

Todd Philips called the meeting to order. Executive Committee members attending were Susan Harris,

Adam Kinsey and Gordon Stalans. Also present was Steve Brookes, Executive Director of the DCA and

Kelly Allen, Q Strategies.

2. DCA Business

Steve updated the Directors on the open Board, Executive and Finance Committee positions. Nominations

were discussed and will go to the Board of Directors for approval during the December meeting.

Steve gave an update on FY Downtown Public Safety Grant. Communication continues between the State

and DCA on what is needed to process the agreement.

The Executive Committee decided to move the December Executive Committee and Board Meeting to

December 3 rd and 10 th respectively. This was done to accommodate holiday travel schedules.

3. Finance Committee Update

Gordon gave an update on the financials. The DCA is currently in good shape and tracking on budget.

The DCA may have to dip into reserves in December but the reserves would be replenished as the

assessment payments come in 2026.

4. Executive Director Update

Steve updated the committee on his Homeward Bound program, which helps unhoused individuals get

home to a support network of family and friends. Steve talked about the number of individuals assisted

since July 1 and the amount of time he puts into the program.
