Downtown Chattanooga BID Releases RFP for Market Street Maintenance and Landscape Program
The Downtown Chattanooga Business Improvement District (BID) has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a qualified vendor to establish and manage a maintenance and landscape program along Market Street, from the Market Street Bridge to 11th Street.
The program will supplement existing City of Chattanooga services, focusing on downtown cleanliness, landscaping, and pedestrian accessibility. It also emphasizes workforce development by creating employment opportunities for individuals facing barriers to employment, with support programs including counseling, GED education and driver's license training. We are now accepting proposals for the program.
Proposals are due by 5 p.m. EST on December 16, 2026. Interested vendors must submit two printed copies to the Downtown Chattanooga Alliance, 407 Broad St., Suite 202, Chattanooga, TN 37402, and email a PDF copy to dtchattalliance@gmail.com. Questions must be submitted by December 7, 2026.
